Field Day 2025

Field day is one of Gauteng’s big three camps, and this year was the first-year 1st Midrand participated. Although we didn’t know much about the camp, we achieved some amazing results!

Field day is a camp where scouts have the opportunity to take part in Scouting and real-world skills, such as first aid, Pioneering and even cooking! Although some of our scouts missed out on some of the activities this year, we participated in almost all of them that we could.

What we achieved:
• 6th overall
• 4th in Akela challenge
• 4th in junior orienteering
• 4th in senior orienteering
• 2nd in Pioneering
• 1st in sport overall
• 1st in junior tug of war
• 3rd in junior volleyball
• 2nd senior tug of war

These are results to be proud of, we gave it our all and it paid off we can all wear our field day badges with pride!
