Midrand Scouts Represent Scouts South Africa at Warsaw Flights Commemoration

The Warsaw flights was a historic airlift mission that carried hope and relief to a besieged Warsaw in 1944 during World War II. To commemorate the 81st anniversary of the flights, Johannesburg’s Polish community gathered around the Katyn Memorial at James & Ethel Gray Park in Melrose on September 6.
